The synopsis

Whisk offers an elegant and luxurious event catering service to deliver an exceptional gastronomic experience to your guests. Whether it’s a private celebration, corporate event or party, our menu is personalised and curated however you want. Our options include shared plates, platters, canapé’s, walk and fork or even barbecue style catering.

What is our process?

Send us a message, email or give us a call via our contact page. We will discuss your tastes and what style of food you want for the event. We typically specialise in European cuisine but are more than happy to divert from that if you have another theme in mind. Feel free to let us know of any requests you might have.

We will also discuss the number of guests you are expecting to attend. Our event catering service can accommodate anywhere from 15-200+ people.

Once we know what we’re looking at, We will send you a quote. Once approved, it just takes a 30% deposit to confirm the date. The full payment will be due three weeks prior to the wedding day with confirmation of the final number of attendees.

We will call you two weeks or so before the event to see if everything is going to plan. In case of any final changes in numbers or dietary requirements, this should give us ample to ensure everything goes smoothly.

On the big day

Having done most of the prep work in our own kitchen the day before, we will arrive a few hours before the start of your event to set up and finalise the menu items. This will also give us time to also go over any last-minute changes or adjustments.

After the event

We will look after the venue and make sure everything is nice and tidy when we leave. If there is any hire equipment, we will make sure that all of this is ready for easy collection the next day.

FAQ

Will you bring in all the crockery needed for the event? + -

In most cases we will bring in all our own bespoke ceramics for your event. If your event is of a larger scale, we may need to hire some extra items.

How do you look after our guests with specific dietary requirements? + -

You can just let us know which guests have a dietary requirement and we will look after the rest. We will either substitute some parts of their meal or create a completely different dish for them.

Will you be able to work from our small home kitchen? + -

Depending on the number of guests, we can use your kitchen for the event. If it looks like it might be too small, then we can always bring in additional equipment to make it work.

Can we tailor the menu? + -

Yes, we are more than happy to tailor our menus based on your catering needs or theme. We love creating so let us know what you’re thinking and we will take it from there.

Do you supply all the staff for our event? + -

We will bring along some of our superstar front and back of house team to run your event.

Do you look after the table setup/decorations? + -

Our front of house staff can start bit earlier on the day to assist in the setup of the event. We can discuss your table arrangement and take charge of this task.

When do we need to provide final guests numbers and dietary requirements? + -

Please let us know three weeks prior to the event day about the final guest numbers and dietary requirements. We can then start our ordering and prep process from there.

We have a birthday cake. Would you be able to cut that for us as part of dessert? + -

Not a problem at all. We will even bring a nice platter along to serve it on.
